I love it! The first listing of original songs without Penrod was a home run. I love how Gaither plays to the strengths of the singers he has. You’ll never hear him trying to make English sound like Penrod nor Hampton like Phelps. I think that’s why the GVB’s recordings are always so great, they’re unique to the individual singers. There is not one single disappointing song on the entire album, from start to finish it’s just perfect. Phelps soars with his vocals when you hope he will. English lends his soulful side throughout the whole CD. Hampton sounds amazing, deep and resonant in his tone. Mark sings “I Know How to Say Thank You”, this was a pleasant surprise, it’s a great song and Mark’s rich baritone just completes it! Even Bill has some pretty cool bass lines. I’d have to say this is one of my favorite Vocal Band recordings. Buy it, you’ll love it!
