This cd is straight classic beats and lyrics are on point. Fat Joe has always been very underrated. This is a return to his very early work and it feels good to be a Joe fan right now with him bringing this heat to the table!

This may well be one of Crack’s best album if not the best, back to his hardcore roots, or might i say, real hiphop roots since this is what rap music is actually supposed to sound like, the lyricism is undeniable, Joe, where were these rhymes all this while? i know, trying to make money in this highly diluted rap music community, i dont blame you though, but a good artist should figure out a way of making money without producing mediocre music at the same time. The right people are featured including highly underrated Busta rhymes, the beats are anything but below average, well done and suitable for the tracks, but it didnt have to be hardcore completey though, with regards to the selling potential; most of the tracks are battle geared, but more storytelling and insightful tracks would’ve made it a complete album (like Jay’s american gangster) but i still appreciate the release, this is the album for people like me. If you’ve been looking for real music, you’ll be making a mistake by missing this.

After listening and listening to this album over and over again then breaking each song down by beats, lyrics, and then creativity I would have to put this album towards to the top of Fat Joes list of best albums to this date.I won’t go as far to say its the best to date by Fat Joe but it certainly is high up on the list. The problem with this album is that unless you really take the time to listen to everything as a whole your not going to understand why I say this is up there towards the top of his list.I have seen in various hip hop websites where 50 cent is clowning the album but to be quite honest Fat Joe deserves an applause and alot of credit for this album. It may not reflect in the sales and not all the time will it show in sales but for any true fans of Fat Joe that are out there I highly recommend this album.

I have to say the crack man def gave us what we wanted to hear. From listening to the first song you kind of get the sense that this dude is really going to bring it on this album. By the time I was done listening I realized that this is a classic. I started to understand what he meant by the dark side. Heartless and cold in each verse. The kind of music that we loved b4 we all turned to listening to that garbage that’s out right now. This album is far from soft. Well worth it. I figured I should support it since he’s one of the last big names still giving it to us like this.
